TikTok launches Agentic Hub — a glowing AI agent orchestrating automated short-video ad campaigns in a futuristic command hub

TikTok has taken a significant step into agentic advertising with the launch of Agentic Hub, a new offering that lets marketers deploy AI agents and specialised skills to automate advertising tasks and streamline campaign management.

The Hub sits alongside an expansion of AI Skills within TikTok's Business App Center, covering campaign creation, optimisation and workflow automation, and a broadening of its Symphony creative suite with additional AI capabilities for producing video content faster. Together, the updates position TikTok as one of the most aggressive platforms in embedding AI directly into the advertising workflow.

From posting to delegating

The shift is subtle but important. Where social advertising once required marketers to build, test and tweak campaigns by hand, agentic tools promise to hand much of that work to AI — with the human setting objectives and guardrails rather than managing every dial. For time-poor teams, the appeal is obvious: more output, faster, with less manual effort.

The trade-offs are equally familiar. Handing campaign decisions to AI agents demands trust in the underlying system, clear guardrails to protect brand safety, and vigilance to ensure automation is optimising for the right outcomes rather than superficial metrics. As with any automation, the quality of the brief and the oversight around it will determine the results.

What it means for UK brands

For UK marketers, TikTok's move is a prompt to build fluency in agentic tools now, while the format is young. Brands that learn how to brief, steer and audit AI agents will be far better placed than those that either ignore the technology or hand it the keys without oversight. TikTok remains a creative-first platform, and the brands that pair its automation with genuinely native, culturally fluent content will get the most from it.

The direction is clear: on TikTok, and increasingly across social, the marketer's job is shifting from doing the work to directing the agents that do it — a change that rewards clarity of strategy above manual execution.
